Software Engineer

Matrix Research Inc. is seeking well-rounded junior and mid-level software engineers with experience in C++ development in our Dayton, OH location to function in the following role:

Duties

  • Develop optimized software solutions based upon algorithmic requirements, end user needs, and runtime specifications.
  • Develop robust user interfaces for technical and non-technical users.
  • Adhere to the software development lifecycle, including requirements definition, derived implementation, testing, and maintenance.

Requirements

  • Experience with C++.
  • Experience with CUDA, GPGPU, OpenCL, OpenMP, MPI a big plus.
  • Experience with Qt or MATLAB a plus.
  • Ability and willingness to learn new software languages (we have projects using Julia, MATLAB, Python).
  • Knowledge and ability to debug coding, compiling, and linking errors.
  • Comfortable with multiple operating systems (we work with Linux, macOS, and Windows), development environments, and debuggers.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Security Clearance (must be U.S. Citizen).
