Research Engineer

Matrix Research, Inc. is seeking a well-rounded Research Engineer for our growing business in Dayton, Ohio.

LOCATION: Our office is located in the Beavercreek, Ohio area. Relocation reimbursement is negotiable for this position.

JOB DESCRIPTION: The successful applicant will serve as a key member of a growing team that is supporting the development, integration, and transition of advanced combat identification capabilities for our customers. Tasks will include algorithm development, evaluation, and optimization; data analysis; data set and configuration management; and component integration.


  • Strong skills with Matlab or a similar high-level programming language
  • Familiarity with systems-level programming languages, especially C++
  • A Bachelor's degree (in engineering, physics mathematics, computer science, or a related technical field) plus 5 years of experience, or another combination of education and experience
  • Applicants must be US citizens capable of obtaining and maintaining a US DoD security clearance. An active clearance is desired.
